2022 Annual Report

In 2022, Concepcion Industrial Corporation (CIC) achieved promising results, aligned with our commitment to bringing happy spaces to life. We prioritized business recovery, adapting to the new normal, and enhancing our culture and capabilities. Despite significant progress, challenges like escalating costs and adverse foreign exchange rates persisted, making for a demanding year. However, our resilience enabled us to adapt and pivot when necessary swiftly, showcasing our ability to overcome obstacles, as highlighted in the 2022 Annual Report.

ENVIRONMENTALISM

Caring for the Planet

In partnership with organizations and local communities, we give back to the environment through various activities, such as tree planting and other initiatives supporting environmental advocacies.

Additionally, CIC launched its Green Footprints Movement, our call to the public to become green advocates where we seek to motivate the public into taking action towards reducing their environment footprint. This provides the public with the knowledge of how they can make small, practical changes that will have significant effect on their own footprints.

Reaching out to the larger community

CIC partners with non-profit organizations to reach the larger communities where CIC employees can volunteer, donate and work together towards the single goal of serving the needs of our fellow Filipinos.

Emergency response

Bridging Communities in Times of Urgent Need

Cortex Technologies, Inc. (Cortex), a subsidiary of CIC, launched WeCARE (We Connect, Act and Respond to Emergencies). It is an emergency response web platform that consolidates the urgent needs of our frontliners and hospitals, and matches them to individuals or groups who are willing to help. WeCARE was established at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic when health institutions and facilities were faced with a shortage of PPEs and equipment. Helping them reach their needs, WeCARE served as a platform that connected these organizations to groups who have the capacity and resources to provide what they need.

COVID-19 RESPONSE

Compassion Amidst Adversity

CIC launched “Hope for a Happier Tomorrow”, the company’s COVID-19 Vaccination Program ensuring the safety of its employees and their household members at work and at home. CIC also provided air conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines to equip health facilities, hospitals and research centers  with appliances that bring convenience and comfort. “Be the Light” CSR was also formed to provide aid to the victims of Typhoon Ulysses in Cagayan. Through the initiative, CIC was able to donate food packages to adopted communities in Samar, Baguio, Pampanga, Mandaluyong and Muntinlupa.
